FOUR casualties were treated by paramedics following a collision between two cars on Saturday.
Fire engines from Warrington, Northwich and Widnes attended the collision on the A533/A49 at Lower Whitley at 4.22pm.
Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out a fire in one of the cars.
The casualties were treated by ambulance personnel, and fire crews were at the scene for about 90 minutes.
