Lorry crash on A49
A DRIVER was trapped after a crash involving two lorries in Weaverham.
He was freed by firefighters and taken to hospital by air ambulance.
The incident happened on the A49, near the Riverside Inn.
It was reported to emergency services at 11.40am today, Thursday, and involved a white Volvo heavy goods vehicle and a white insulated DAF truck.
The A49 has been shut in both directions between Weaverham roundabout and Bartington traffic lights.
