TWO Llamas are reportedly on the loose in Winsford, police have warned.
At 1.11pm today, Cheshire Police posted the unusual alert on their Facebook and Twitter channels.
The officer who made the post couldn’t resist a tongue-in-cheek joke.
The post said: “Reports of two Llamas loose in Whitegate area of #Winsford. Please do not be allama'd.”
Residents also joined in with the fun, posint a number of hilarious comments.
Matt-new Forbes said the event marked the beginning of ‘llamageddon’.
Andrew Conboy said: “There's one saying prayers I think it's the Dalai Lama.”
Keen for another bite at the cherry, Andrew took the opportunity to take a dig at Liverpool FC.
He said: “There's a football player amongst them, Adam Llalama.”
Peter Woodfine was happy Cheshire Police were informing them of the potential hazard.
He said: “At least nobodies pulling the wool over our eyes.”
Fortunately the llamas couldn't out-smart Winsford police officers for long.
Just before 2pm, Cheshire Police posted: "The Llamas from Winsford have returned to their field. #Llamadrama."
