Winsford pick up first win

WINSFORD bounced back from last week's disappointing defeat to beat newcomers Over Peover.

They reached the bonus batting point target in their total of 128, with Gary Sargeant (29) scoring three sixes on his way to the afternoon's biggest score.

Peover collapsed in reply.

Mike Clarke (4-21) was supported well by star man Sargeant (3-13), James Tierney and skipper Martin Barrett as the hosts were bowled out for 75.
