A HOUSE in Winsford which was raided by police and the RSPCA was full of animals a witness has said.
Numerous dogs, cats, rats and a snake were all recovered but the RSPCA told the Guardian it could not confirm how many due to an ongoing investigation.
A spokesman said: “We can confirm we were called to an address in Winsford and removed a number of animals.
“We are unable to comment further as it is an ongoing investigation.”
Neighbours witnessed the raid on Lagos Grove, pictured, on Sunday, June 21, and Monday, June 22.
One neighbour said he saw numerous animals being brought out of the house.
The neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: “The RSPCA came with the police and raided the house.
“We saw 25 animal cases going in and the officers came out with them.
“I wouldn’t like to guess how many animals there were but they brought 25 cases with them.”
