SINCE opening in November, the St Luke's Interiors shop has gone from strength to strength and it is now branching out into new lines.

Fundraising manager Wendy Gibson said: "We are delighted with the way this shop is evolving.

"With the high quality donations we are receiving and the hard work of our dedicated volunteers, our success to date has far exceeded our expectations."

The shop is now stocking the work of local artists and anyone interested in selling their work on a sale or return basis is invited to contact the shop.

Wendy said: "We are hoping to help to alter people's views and misconceptions of charity shops and so far the feedback is very encouraging."

But while work is going well at the shop in Delamere Street, Winsford, volunteers are always welcome.

Wendy said; "As this shop is very different from our other shops we can offer varied opportunities to individuals who may be interested in helping, so if you are a student, are currently unemployed looking for work experience or retired with experience in business, computers, marketing, design then come along and offer your expertise."

The shop is open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday. To find out more about volunteering or stocking your artwork ring 01606 590006.
