A 4-YEAR-OLD girl has broken her leg after she was hit by an oncoming car.
Sometime between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday, May 17, a 4-year-old girl was crossing Dutton Way in Crewe when she was struck by a passing vehicle.
Following the collision, the victim was taken to Leighton Hospital where she was treated for a broken leg. She has since been released.
Officers from the Roads Policing unit are now appealing for information.
The vehicle involved in the collision is described as a small hatchback, light blue in colour, and the driver is believed to be a woman.
Police officers believe that the car was overtaking a parked van at the time the collision occurred.
Anyone with information in relation to the collision is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 316 of May 21, 2015.
