A FIRE that damaged a playground in Winsford last night is believed to have been started deliberately.
Firefighters were called to an incident on Chiltern Way, Winsford, on Wednesday, May 6 at 10.12pm.
A hose reel jet was used to put out a fire involving playground apparatus. Firefighters believe the fire was started deliberately.
Anyone with any information regarding this, or similar incidents, are asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
