FIRE crews were called to a house in Northwich yesterday morning after a fire broke out from a hearth.
Three fire engines were called to the scene on Forest Road in Cuddington just before midday.
They tackled the blaze using a hose reel and a large fan to remove any smoke from the building.
Cheshire Fire were orginally told that the fire was due to a chip pan, but on further investigation it has been confirmed that the fire started in the hearth.
