NANTWICH and Crewe Town Crier joined a team of ladies to ask the public to sign up to St Luke's Hospice's Midnight Walk.

John Parsons, Nantwich and Crewe Town Crier, joined the ladies from Business Training and Consultancy Ltd in Crewe, who are taking part together.

The Midnight Walk is St Luke’s biggest fundraising event and more ladies are needed to be part of the best night of the year.

Taking place on Saturday June 27, walkers have a wonderful evening of entertainment by Redshift Radio and then set off on route through Nantwich and Crewe.

Walkers take part for fun, as a challenge, or to remember a loved one. Whatever the reason, ladies are guaranteed to have a night to remember.

Ladies can choose on the night whether to walk 6.5 miles or 13.1 miles.

Jane Thompson, Head of Events, said: “This is our 11th ladies only Midnight Walk which we are immensely proud of.

"We’d love for mums, daughters, grandmothers to join together as family groups and be part of the night with us.

"Get your work colleagues to have a team together, or encourage your friends to have a great girls’ night out. Don your tutus and tiaras and sign up today to raise money for patient care.”

To sign up go to midnightwalk.co.uk or call Melissa on 01606 555815.
