A TEENAGER has been charged with possessing a firearm after police found an air weapon at his address.
On Tuesday, March 3 at 7.13pm, officers executed a warrant on the Glebe Estate, Bentley Grove, Winsford. One inside officers recovered an air weapon and a quantity of cannabis.
A 19-year-old man, from Winsford, was charged with possession of a class B drug and possession of a firearm when prohibited.
A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: “On Tuesday, March 3 around 7.13pm officers executed a warrant at an address on Glebe Estate, Bentley Grove, Winsford.
“As a result a 19-year-old man was arrested and subsequently charged with possession of a class B drug and possession of a firearm when prohibited.”
The 19-year-old man was released on bail and is due to appear before South Cheshire Magistrates Court on March 23.
