A ROAD in Crewe was closed after a lorry got wedged under a railway bridge.
Emergency services were called at 12.23 on Wednesday, March 3 after reports a truck had become stuck under a railway bridge on Gresty Road in Crewe near Mornflake Oats.
Gresty Road was closed as emergency services and Network Rail dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police has confirmed that no damage was caused and no-one was injured during the incident.
Gresty Road has now been reopened.
