A MOTORIST had to be freed from her car following a collision on Winsford High Street.
Around 4.58pm on Monday, February 9, emergency services were called following reports of a collision involving two cars in Winsford.
A 49-year-old woman driving a red Volkswagen Polo had to be freed from her car by firefighters. She was then handed into the care of the ambulance service.
A passenger in the Polo suffered a fractured jaw in the collision.
The second motorist, a 60-year-old woman, who driving a silver Vauxhall Insignia, sustained facial,hand and chest injuries.
Both lanes of the high street had to be closed as emergency services dealt with the incident and was reopened some time after.
