FAMILIES flocked to a luxury hotel to mark an awareness month and a new partnership.
Nunsmere Hall Hotel has chosen The Joshua Tree as its charity of the year and the two joined forces on Monday to hold a families day full of fun and games.
More than 70 families enjoyed archery, a climbing wall, animals from Stockley Farm, face painting, barbecue, Cheshire Ice Cream, family photography by Helen Rae, Diddy Dance and Jo Jingles.
Sara Wheater, from The Joshua Tree, said: "The families day went better than we expected.
"We had a really lovely mix of local families and some of the families we support came along as well and it was lovely to see them.
"Nunsmere Hall was fantastic in terms of the support they gave us.
"It couldn't have gone any better – it was a great start to the awareness month and to our 12 months with Nunsmere, and we've got lots more planned."
The day raised about £500.
