CRANSLEY School head teacher Simon Leyshon has stressed the value of small class sizes as he congratulated his students on their GCSE results.
Ninety-three per cent of students achieved five or more A* to C grades, and 40 per cent of the grades awarded were A* to A.
Mr Leyshon said: “I am absolutely delighted. Our students and staff have worked extremely hard to achieve these excellent results, and I am particularly pleased with the percentage of A* and A grades.
“Our small class sizes help give students the attention they need to fulfil their potential, and this is reflected in the set of results gained this year.”
