LOCAL artists whose work has been seen on an international stage are part of a new exhibition at the Red Lion in Winsford this month.
Paintings and photographs by Alice Johnson and Helena Eloise feature at the pub until the end of May.
While completing an MA in textiles at Manchester MMU, Alice travelled to Berlin and London after her installations were used in internet advertising campaigns for Converse and Sony.
Now back in Winsford, she has produced a range of expressionistic celebrity portraits, receiving many commissions.
Fellow Winsfordian, Helena Eloise, has seen her work feature in the likes of Mix Mag, The Big Issue, LateXtra and Haunted Magazine, as well as being reviewed by The Guardian, Skin Two and Alt Fashion Magazine.
A selection of Helena's images will be exhibited in the Red Lion alongside her Dance till Dawn collection, which features in the Women in Focus, International Women's Exhibit 2014.
