A POOL tournament has been battled out at a Weaverham pub by adults with learning disabilities.
The group, which meets at Firdale Day Centre, in Firdale Road, held the tournament at the Wheatsheaf pub.
The winner was John Mays, who received a cup, and the runner up was Sue Jones.
Other players included David Evans, Dean Lord, Tim Hughes, Stephen Christie and Charlie Royal, who each received a certificate and medal.
The tournament was sponsored by Wheatsheaf landlord Terry Philips.
The group’s next tournament will be darts and will take place in May.
