A WEAVERHAM school enjoyed a very special visit from the 11th Bishop of Shrewsbury recently.
The right reverend Mark Davies attended St Bede’s Catholic Primary School to hold a question and answer assembly with children.
Pupils could ask him anything they wanted about being a Bishop, before he joined in with the staff tea-break.
Bishop Mark thanked Mrs Casey, headteacher, and all the staff for their hard work.
He was highly complimentary of the children’s behaviour, their singing, the school environment and the standards of the school.
Bishop Mark had a tour of the school and was impressed with the changes and extension work to the school building since his last visit in March 2010.
