VIDEO: Farage makes light of UKIP councillor's gay marriage comment at Winnington Rec
CONTROVERSIAL political leader Nigel Farage, from the UK Independence Party (UKIP) spoke to hundreds of people in Northwich on Friday.
It was standing room only at Winnington Park Recreation Club, which seats 250, for the speech followed by a question and answer session.
Here is his opening line, which made light of UKIP councillor David Silvester's comment about gay marriage being to blame for the UK's recent stormy weather.
