POLICE have issued a computer generated image of a man they want to speak to in relation to a bogus police doorstep call.
The E-fit image release follows a distraction burglary incident whereby a person falsely claiming to be a police ‘crime prevention officer’ gained entry to a home in Rudheath at 5.30pm on December 11.
Anyone who is similarly approached on the doorstep should not let the man into their homes, and should contact police as soon as possible.
The suspect is described as white, between 25 to 30-years-old, wearing a dark coat and trousers, balding with short, light brown hair.
Anyone with information on the burglary, or who has been approached on the doorstep by a person matching the image should call Cheshire Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
