A CREWE school is celebrating after moving from a 'notice to improve' to 'good’ throughout all areas of their Ofsted report in record time.
Inspectos praised the teamwork and can-do approach that have transformed Mablins Lane Community Primary School.
During a two day visit, they found a growing number of aspects of the school’s work were exemplary, with pupil achievement on the rise.
Lead inspector, Sonja Oyen said: “The school is well on its way to achieving its goal of being outstanding.
“Such are the strides made that the school is being consulted by others who wish to echo best practice.”
Headteacher Paul Burke said: “I am very pleased that all our hard work has been recognised by Ofsted.
"The move from grade four, notice to improve, to grade two, good, must not be underestimated as it is extremely hard to achieve.
“More importantly, the Ofsted team judged the school to be close to outstanding in two of the four areas - behaviour and safety, and leadership and management.
“What an achievement in just 15 months! I would like to thank all the staff, pupils, governors and parents.”
