ALTRINCHAM Little Theatre’s next production will be Peter Quilter’s The Actress which will be playing from Sunday, November 19 to Saturday, November 26 at 7.40 pm.
The Actress symbolises retirements and how, although sometimes sad occasions, they can also be happy events as friends and colleagues gather to remember the good times they have shared (and sometimes the not-so-good).
The play dramatises the events backstage as a colourful, complicated actress makes her emotional farewell performance.
Various people from her life invade her dressing room to say their goodbyes, declare their love, roar with laughter, spit insults, grab a final embrace and renew old battles.
