Dionne Warwick has hailed Bobbi Kristina Brown as a “good little girl” as she paid tribute to her late cousin.
The 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston has died seven months after she was found unconscious in a bathtub.
Dionne, 74, went ahead with her appearance on US TV show Watch What Happens Live, following the news of Bobbi Kristina’s death.
Asked about her memories of Bobbi Kristina, Dionne said: “Oh my, do we have enough time? She was a sweetheart and she will be missed that’s for sure. And she was a good girl… She was a good little girl, she really was.”
And she said the family were turning to their religion to keep them strong as they mourned her death.
“It’s not easy that’s for sure,” said Dionne. “I think it’s because of our faith and strength in our faith. Knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and powerful person or thing that we’ll ever know. She’s in much better hands now.”
Other stars to pay tribute included Oprah Winfrey, P Diddy, LaToya Jackson and Missy Elliott.
