Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas has joked he and co-star Danny Miller have got into a scrap over who is the boss of their scrapyard in the soap.
The 27-year-old actor revealed he has really enjoyed working on the scenes since pals Adam Barton and Aaron Livesy decided to go into business together.
Adam said: “I love the scrapyard idea, I get to work with Danny, we’re in business together – I don’t know how long it’s going to last.
“I’m the one doing all the work. We’ve never actually settled who’s the boss. I always say I’m the boss and he says, ‘Oh no’.
“He’s off doing his own thing now, his own storylines, but the scrap is when it joins us together and we get to work together, I love working with him, it’s a good laugh.”
And the lads have got a new friend in the scrapyard too – although Adam admitted he is not sure how well they get on.
He revealed: “We just got a new dog actually, a big Rottweiler, called Scrappy. I’ve only had one scene with him and he hates the microphone, so he’s always jumping up.”
Adam joked: “I’m really scared – on screen you can see it in my eyes.”
