THE Ks have announced a huge Manchester gig as part of their unstoppable rise through the music scene.

Due to phenomenal ticket demand for the Earlestown band's sold out show this Saturday at The Ritz, they will be returning on October 17 to play the 2,300-capacity Manchester Academy.

The Ks instantly caught the attention of music lovers with their signature tune and instant hit, Sarajevo.

It hit one million listens on Spotify before they even signed a record deal with Alan McGee’s Creation23 label.

Alan McGee was the man who famously discovered Oasis and he championed acts like The Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream and My Bloody Valentine in his 80s and 90s heyday. The Ks' single, Aurora, is their first under his label.

Tickets are available at 9am on Friday. Visit gigsandtours.com/tour/the-k-s
