SOUP Productions are working on a new production that drama lovers can get their teeth stuck into.

The Warrington performing arts group will soon cast a dark shadow on The Brindley with their interpretation of the gothic classic Dracula tale called The Dawn of Dracula.

The Dawn of Dracula tells the story of Dracula’s attempt to move from Transylvania to England, so he may find new blood and bring a curse among the people he comes into contact with, including a naïve traveller known as Jonathan Harker.

With an original script written by Michael Pirks and directed by Danny Shaw and Hayley Northey, this production captures the spirit of what Soup offers – the opportunity to write, direct and act across all performance art forms.

Padgate resident Michael said: “Following the success of our first sell-out show Murder at Cadberry Manor, in October 2018, we are pulling out all stops to present a fresh and terrifying adaptation of Bram Stoker’s most famous character.

“Soup Productions has grown as a group in the past two years and shows no signs of stopping with a new production planned for The Pyramid in Warrington, a selection of short films and other projects to offer in 2020.”

The Dawn Of Dracula runs from November 6 to 8 at The Brindley in Runcorn. Tickets are £12 and shows start at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 0151 907 8360 or via thebrindley.org.uk.
