A MUSIC and family festival is returning to Burtonwood next weekend after a successful launch last year.
Burtonwoodstock at The Club Burtonwood in Phipps Lane will again offer a full day of free live music on Saturday, August 3, from 12.30pm.
Paul Wharton, Burtonwoodstock co-organiser, said: "With two stages of live bands and solo musicians, performing covers old and new as well as their own original material it's sure to be another brilliant day. Make sure you've brought your dancing shoes as we're ready for a party!
"This year we look to celebrate the Burtonwood's history as we welcome Burtonwood Heritage Centre and Burtonwood Coasters, showcasing our RAF and brewery history.
"We also have food vendors, drinks tents and a festival stall with Burtonwoodstock merchandise. For the younger ones, we have face painting, glitter tattoos and sparkle eyes decorations, plus other games and activities on our lawn area."
This year's festival features Jukebox Band, The Amazing Kappa, The Whiskey Wooders, The Patriots, Olivia Parr, Paddy Ryan and many more.
