TRAFFORD City-based adventure golf attraction Dino Falls Adventure Golf has launched Autism Friendly sessions.

With approximately 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, the team at Dino Falls Adventure Golf has recognised the importance of making the course more accessible to those visiting with autism.

The sessions, which will take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, will include adjusted lighting, reduced sound and low-level music on the course.

Pete Styles, Director of Golf at Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls, said: β€œAt Dino Falls, we pride ourselves on being accessible for all.

"The introduction of Autism Friendly sessions on the course will ensure a more comfortable and quieter experience for customers.

"We ask that all customers are respectful of the session and mindful when visiting during that time.”

There are a range of Autism Friendly sessions at various attractions in and around the Trafford Centre including PlayFactore, Sea Life Manchester and Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester.

The Trafford Centre has also developed ASC (autism spectrum conditions) guides to support shoppers (available online and at the customer service desk) and also have a number of supportive retailers including Build a Bear and Odeon Cinemas.
