ONE screening of the new Avengers film has already sold out in Warrington – almost two weeks before the film is released.
New figures show that 188 showings of Avengers: Endgame are already sold out across the UK.
Among them is the 4pm showing on Thursday, April 25 at the Westbrook cinema.
Five other screenings of the film earlier in the day at Odeon are already at at least 50 per cent capacity.
The film, starring Robert Downey Jr, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson, is the direct sequel to 2018's Avengers: Infinity War.
The figures have been released by box office gurus Applaudience who say more than 865,000 tickets have been sold so far, for an approximate £9.3m pre-sales box office.
Remarkably it means that 1.3 per cent of the population have already bought tickets, despite the film still being another two weeks away from release.
