REPLICAS of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber and Princess Leia's blaster have been added to a display of Star Wars memorabilia at Seacombe Spaceport.
Sci-Fi Icons now features 13 characters from the film franchise's recent blockbusters The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and Rogue One.
New additions include life-sized figures of fan favourites Rey, Finn, Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, BB-8, Poe Dameron, Chirrut Imwe, Orson Krennic and Han Solo from Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Gary Evans from Merseytravel said: "We're excited to be able to bring these new additions to the Sci-Fi Icons exhibition, as they help us complete the journey so far for fans of the Star Wars franchise.
"The Sci-Fi Icons exhibition features a private collection of Star Wars memorabilia from one of the UK's biggest collectors and, since we launched, it has proved incredibly popular with families across the country.
"These latest blockbusters in the franchise have created a new generation of Star Wars fans and we're excited to help people of all ages discover – and in some cases rediscover – their inner Jedi, and enjoy the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most popular characters."
The centre will be closed on bank holidays over Christmas but will be open December 27 to 30.
