TIRELESS comedian Ed Byrne has announced his return to Warrington next year hot on the heels of his previous tour.

The Irish stand-up observational comic will be bringing his new tour, If I'm Honest, to the Parr Hall on December 10, 2019.

Fans can join Ed as he takes a long hard look at himself and tries to decide if he has any traits that are worth passing on to his children, Cosmo and Magnus.

It follows his previous routine, Spoiler Alert, which explored the thin line between righteous complaining and brat-like whining in modern life.

During his 20 years in comedy, Ed has enjoyed huge critical and popular success in the UK and Ireland. He originally studied horticulture at the University of Strathclyde before dedicating himself to comedy.

And it was while he was at uni that Ed cut his teeth on the circuit, launching his own comedy night in the basement of a Glasgow pub.

Ed made his breakthrough when he was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award at the 1998 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Since then the 46-year-old has performed hit tours, sold out many runs at Edinburgh Fringe, had a successful two-week run in the West End and appeared on radio, television, the stage and the big screen. A household name, in the past year Ed has appeared on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, The Pilgrimage, Top Gear and QI.
