International pianist Jill Crossland will give a recital in Northwich.

She will play a programme of her trademark Bach, together with Beethoven’s Pathetique sonata and some of Schubert’s most popular pieces.

Jill has appeared regularly in London at the Wigmore Hall and South Bank, and has performed in the Vienna Musikverein, Vienna Konzerthaus, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Bridgewater Hall, Sage Gateshead among many other venues.

Locally she has also played in the Stafford Music Festival and for Alsager Music and Arts.

Jill’s recordings include the Bach Goldberg Variations on Warner Classics and the complete Bach 48 Preludes and Fugues on Signum Classics, which have received great critical acclaim

Jill is known for her imaginative and passionate interpretations of the classical repertoire, combining virtuosity, precision and depth.

The recital is on Friday, September 28 at 7.30pm at Northwich Methodist Church (Outreach Centre) in Witton Street, Admission is free, with interval refreshments and a retiring collection.
