Jeremy Clarkson will return to TV screens as the host of two popular quiz shows.
ITV has confirmed that Clarkson will host a further 35 episodes across Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and its spin-off show, Millionaire Hot Seat, later this year.
The announcement follows his recent disclosure of an “aggressive” prostate cancer diagnosis on his Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm.
In a later interview with The Sunday Times, he revealed he is now in remission after a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test showed no sign of cancer.
How does Millionaire Hot Seat work?
The quiz show sees contestants sit in a queue around the hot seat, which faces Clarkson, where they must answer questions to climb the money ladder.
If they get a question wrong, they are kicked out and the value of the top prize drops.
Contestants also have the opportunity to pass and stay in the game, but they will go to the back of the queue, meaning they may not return to the hot seat, where they have to be sitting to win the top prize.

In the most recent series, a retired IT analyst became the seventh contestant to win the £1 million jackpot.

Filming for both shows will begin later this year and they will be broadcast on ITV and ITVX.
