Local estate and lettings agency Entwistle Green has chosen Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust as its ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2014. Entwistle Green has pledged to make a donation to the charity for every property, with a board, that it is instructed to sell in 2014.
“In addition to this core donation, staff from Entwistle Green’s network of branches in the north west will be holding fundraising events throughout the year, including the ‘Wear something pink for Jo’s Trust’ day on March 28.
Three main fundraising events have already been planned. These are a Buckingham Palace to Edinburgh Castle ‘cyclethon’, where a team of eight people will cycle a distance of 403.9 miles on static bikes; a coast-to-coast cycle ride, where a team of five will ride from the west coast of England to the east coast; and a team of runners have entered the Bupa Great North Run in September.
Entwistle Green has also printed a special limited edition ‘For Jo’s’ for sale board, which will not only raise awareness for the charity but will help properties stand out from the crowd.
