NOTICE OF MAKING - (Mottram Road, Stevens Street & Trafford Road, Alderley Edge) (Prohibition & Restriction of Waiting & Revocation) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that on 12 November 2020 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1,2 and 4, and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 November 2020, will be to;

i) introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths and sides of Road;

Mottram Road (south side) - from its eastern kerbline with Swiss Hill to a point 15 metres east of that kerbline.
Mottram Road (south side) - from its western kerbline with Swiss Hill to a point 15 metres west of that kerbline.
Mottram Road (south side) - from its eastern kerbline with Squirrel's Jump to a point 10 metres east of that kerbline.
Mottram Road (south side) - from its western kerbline with Squirrel's Jump to a point 10 metres west of that kerbline.
Steven's Street (north side) - from a point 48 metres south west of its southern kerbline with Trafford Road to a point 53 metres south west of that kerbline. Trafford Road (south west side) - from a point 23 metres north west of its junction with Stevens Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
ii) to revoke restrictions on the following lengths and sides of road:

Mottram Road (south side) - No Waiting at any time, from a point 83 metres east of its junction with Trafford Road in an easterly direction to a point 100 metres east of that junction (a revocation of 17 metres) &
Trafford Road (south side) - limited waiting, from a point 23 metres north west of its junction with Stevens Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

2. A copy of the Order; a map showing the restricted areas; a statement of reasons for making the Order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order are available to view at:

3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or an instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

NOTICE OF MAKING - (Tabley Road and Manchester Road, Knutsford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that on 12 November 2020 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1,2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 November 2020 will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on the following lengths and sides of road;

Tabley Road (North Side) - from its junction with Manchester Road for a distance of 29 metres in a westerly direction
Tabley Road (South Side) - from its junction with Manchester Road for a distance of 38 metres in a westerly direction
Manchester Road (West Side) - between a point 10 metres north west and 10 metres south east of its junction with Tabley Road.
2. A copy of the draft Order; map showing the restricted areas; a statement of reasons for making the Order and a copy of this public notice are available at;
