Day Eileen

EILEEN DAY Sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep, Sunday 13th June, aged 94 years, with her family beside her. The wife of the late Hank Day, she leaves behind her daughter Donnalyn (Donnalyn's Husband Jimmy), grandson Jason (Jason's Wife Jo) and great grandchildren Ellie, Katie and Daniel. She also leaves behind devoted, long term friend Kenn, who with Eileen, established Blue Grass Animal Hotel in Little Leigh. Blue Grass ran successfully for over 60 years and Eileen took great pleasure in looking after the beloved pets of her customers. A private burial will take place at Little Leigh Friday 26th June at 11am, however the family plan to have a Celebration of Eileen's life at a later date, which will be announced in due course.
