JULIA PRESTON B.A. (Hons) Peacefully at Yorklea Nursing Home, Chorlton, Manchester on Thursday 3rd October 2019. Julia, aged 76, of Northwich, widow of Roger, mother of Matthew, Jonathan and Christopher, sister of Charles Ford, also a grandmother to six. Graduate of the University of Bristol, retired teacher at Mid Cheshire College and home tutor, former Methodist local preacher and later congregation member of St Helen's, Witton. Funeral service at St Helen's, Witton on Friday 8th November at 11.00am followed by cremation at Vale Royal Crematorium. No flowers please, donations if wished for the Stroke Association (Charity No. 211015) via George Bell Funeral Service, 49 Birches Lane, Lostock Green, Northwich, CW9 7SN. Tel: 01606 42534.
