Golden Wedding Mr and Mrs T. Taylor Jean and Tom Taylor who live in Hartford celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on August 1st 2020. They met while working at ICI Mond Division's Research Laboratory in 1968, where both were employed as research scientists. Although they worked in different laboratories the chemistry between them was strong and they were engaged in 1969. They were married at St Luke's church Winnington on August 1st1970 and honeymooned in Italy. Afterwards they moved to the Netherlands, where they were employed at the Unilever Research Laboratory in Vlaardingen, near Rotterdam. On returning to the UK they set up home in Barnton, where children Karen and Mark were born. They later moved to Sandiway then Hartford where they currently live and enjoy a happy retirement. They are life-long supporters of Manchester United and still enjoy line dancing and world travel. They celebrated their Golden Wedding earlier in the year with a cruise from Southampton to Australia.
