Everyone needs to pull together over Middlewich's Wheelock Street

WITH regard to the closure of Wheelock Street, my gratitude to reporter David Morgan for highlighting that it’s business as usual in Middlewich. I am sure that will help.

Not only is Wheelock Street affected by the National Grid gas works, Hightown is also suffering due to the diversion signs.

I know that my wife thinks that businesses should support each other. She has even offered her premises in Hightown to other businesses in Wheelock Street but was disappointed at the response (that is actually an understatement).

However one business took up her offer and the display at the Accord Clinic is very evident of that.

Congratulations on everyone’s courage and best wishes – it’s hell out there – everyone needs to pull together.
