Council is two-faced

1:10pm Monday 16th August 2010

I SEE our wonderful new council has got its priorities right once again.

It is spending £60,000 on upgrading a playing field that will more than likely be vandalised in its first week, and given top priority to Rilshaw Meadows, by laying a tarred surface for the few anglers and druggies to litter.

Yet, we at Meadow Bank have repeatedly been told the council will not resurface our road, as it is unadopted.

However, the council empties our bins, lights our street, picks up letter, mows the greens, and gladly take our council tax. What a two-faced lot they are.
