I WOULD like to ask the Chief Constable of Cheshire if the Highway Code is still a legal document and if it is, why is it not enforced by him?
On a daily basis, I see cars parked on pavements, within school entrance chevrons, on double yellow lines, grass verges, causing obstructions to everyone, and people using mobile phones while driving.
All this plus many more, are breaking the law according to the Road Traffic Acts five and eight and 243.
The Government say cut back on policing, but think of the revenue lost due to this neglect of law.
The revenue made would pay for more PCSOs, or a traffic warden.
