AFTER the expenses scam perpetrated by our elected representatives we know now of another that in the view of many ex-servicemen is so obnoxious that it pales into comparison with the first. Is the public aware that any MP visiting an area of military conflict in which British forces are active, receives the medal awarded for this action.
While those servicemen involved have to be in the area of conflict at least 28 days to be eligible.
