LISTENING to the Conservative party is like going to the pantomimes I watched over the last few weeks.

‘We will give people a referendum. Oh no we won’t!

‘We will be make swingeing cuts.

‘Oh no we won’t!

‘We will give special help to married couples.

Oh no we won’t!’ I could go on, but you get the drift.

Osborne and Cameron sound like Widow Twankey and Abanazar, the only trouble is the audience doesn’t find it a bit funny.
