Beware of parking penalties

I’M writing to make readers aware of the ‘parking eye’ at the Aldi shop in Winsford.

The time allowed to park there is one and a half hours, and I was 10 minutes over, with a fine of £70, or £40 if paid early.

I had completed my shopping at Aldi, then walked to another shop to get something else, then chatted to a display team, not realising I would be late.

The parking eye got my details for DVLA.

This really is big brother.

If there was a ticket machine, at least you know what you are paying and as a pensioner I am not exactly running or walking fast.
