Why I deplore the election of Nick Griffin and the BNP

I AM writing to deplore the election of Nick Griffin to a seat in the European Parliament.

He talks about closing the doors to Britain with pride but does he ever think of all those doors kicked open by British armies and the countries taken over by our imperialist forebears during more than 300 years of expansion across the globe?

While some good resulted from these invariably violent invasions, there was much that was bad, arrogant, racist and prejudiced in many other ways.

People and their cultures were treated with mostly contempt and now many of these countries are impoverished, beset by violence, corruption and by a terrible lack of equality, reasons why many of their inhabitants want to come to the developed world to seek quality of life comparable to our own here in Britain.

They risk their lives to get to countries such as Britain, often having had to pay large sums of money to traffickers.

When they get here, they are lucky if they can get some of the worst jobs going where they are likely to be exploited and paid very low wages.

If we look back honestly at our history, should we not be proud of having an open door?

The BNP will cite the Second World War as an inspiration, but it wasn’t.

That war was fought against those who would brook no differences in society and sought to close the door finally on the Jewish community, on the disabled, the Roma, homosexuals and on those brave enough to stand up to their obnoxious ideology.

I would ask people to look at the bigger picture and think how it is that there is such a lack of parity in this world with those in developed countries enjoying a much greater degree of prosperity.

Just being radical i guess ..but maybe people voted BNP because they liked their manifesto. If it was a 'protest vote' as been suggested could have gone for the Greens or the Roman party.Maybe the BNP are doers rather than talkers.

To the person who is sick and tired of hearing about the BNP.these people were elected in a democratic and fair manner you have a lot to say on what the BNP get up to so let us have proof of what you know.
This country is being invaded by illegal immigrants they have first choice over housing people who have been waiting for a home are shoved further and further down the list so these people who have not contributed a brass farthing get free housing, welfare,NHS, are paid more than our pensioners who have worked all there lives our pennons have been riffled by Gordon Brown and the EU is set to attack private pensions 20%we now have the worst pension in Europe and beyond. They say we need there labour well no one should come to this country while we have idle people on the dole over two million of them (not all want to be there) when all these are working and not scrounging should any be let in. let us hear you chirp when it effects you when your son or daughter is pushed aside to make way for them or when the system collapses as it shortly going to.

The BNP stands for the English and Patriotism or we could stay with what we have now filling there pockets with our money or fighting illegal wars how many of our boys have been killed now ?. It may interest you to know the first job on reaching The EU is to find out what happed when all our national industries were sold(given away)Australia owns our water the French own most of our power stations do you get the general idea wake up and see what is really going on in this country.
