AS predicted our anti-democratic Parliament has no intention of honouring the wishes of the electorate in respect of the EU Referendum vote.

Let us just briefly look at some of the wording of the so called ‘principles’.

Firstly it says ‘We will leave the EU on March 29, 2019’. Absolutely clear.

What about the principle ‘We will be sending no more vast sums of money to Brussels’. The word vast is relative and meaningless in this ‘principle’. Does it mean ‘We will be sending no more contributions to Brussels’ as many people will assume or, more likely does it mean ‘We will still be sending sums of money to Brussels but we (the government) will not regard them as vast’?

And principle 8 says ‘We will leave the CFP and CAP’ undated of course. Why is it necessary to have a separate principle for this?

If leaving the EU doesn’t also include leaving the Common Fisheries Policy and Common Agricultural Policy then what on earth does it mean? We only need one principle and that is we leave the EU on March 29, 2019. All other principles are then included.
