Bridge causes traffic woe
I HOPE the councillors and council staff who ignored public opinion and forced through the unwanted one way system were stuck in the horrendous queues on Sunday, as I was, following the closure of one of the bridges.
This can only be a forerunner of when one of the bridges is shut for weeks for maintenance or repair.
In Northwich wherever you go you find road closed and diversion signs yet on Saturday I saw no pre-warning that the bridge was to be closed.
This is another example of this council’s grandiose schemes failing. But then it’s not their money.
