THE Guardian asked which roads readers thought need resurfacing in Northwich.
The roads that I can name that require resurfacing are as follows: a) Moulton – Whitlow Lane/Park Lane/Main Road/Meadow Lane b) Hartford – A556 from Hartford traffic lights to Blue Bridge/from Rudheath Roundabout to Lostock Green (bad for dual carriageways) c) Rudheath – Agecroft Road/ Middlewich Road These are just a few I can recall are bad but social media list many complaints on pothole issues.
I also note that a rather long road round Kingsmead estate was recently resurfaced which, according to people I have spoken with, was not too bad and was only about 25 years old anyway (if that).
Maybe a council executive would like to explain why this road was done before all the very bad ones around Northwich and the ones that obviously cost the tax payer considerable sums in compensation for drivers.
