I HAVE just been fined for not parking in a non-existent parking bay. There are bays on the market car park on the side of the market.
I stopped to use the only public facility, came out and got a £25 fine.
I appealed then got a reply of rejection from a person I cannot reply to. I was told to pay £25 within 14 days or it would double to £50. That’s a hell of a rise from the ‘spend a penny’ when I was a kid – £25 to go to the loo for a 70 year old pensioner. The council should be justly proud.
