PERHAPS I can comment on the latest Remoaners’ view from Malcolm and Sara Walker.

They say it is very complex with many issues to resolve and/or negotiate.

I would guess that they are simply undertaking a repetitive chant of the Remoaners’ mantra hoping that the process can be delayed and reneged upon.

The actual process is rather simple.

The UK could simply leave and undertake world trade arrangements with the EU as many other countries do.

Clearly we would prefer not to do that as we are the world’s leading advocate of free trade.

European businesses also want free trade with us, it is only the miffed EU politicians who are likely to be the fly in the ointment.

If the Walkers are privy to essential, necessary, complex issues then perhaps they could define four or five in detail rather than making general sound bites.

They try to suggest that we are somehow ‘worse off ’ since the referendum with subsequent transient changes in the rate of exchange.

Perhaps they should have mentioned the stock market which has soared in anticipation of the good times to come.

They also misinterpret history.

Winston Churchill was totally against political tie-up with Europe - free trade, yes.

Political tie up - no.

A little less invention and scaremongering would be appreciated from any further contributions from our ‘frightened to death’ remoaners.
